Meet Shack

In college, Aaron Shackelford played 4 years at The Master’s University in Santa Clarita, CA. During his time at TMU he set the University record for Home Runs in a season (36), career home runs (68), defensive assists in a single season (at shortstop), and was named the National Player of the Year in 2019. He was then drafted in the 14th round by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the 2019 MLB Draft. Aaron played 5 and a half season in the Pittsburgh Pirates Organization, leading the entire Organization in home runs in 2022 (26), and finishing in the top 5 in two other seasons (2021, 2023). Aaron was also named the Manny Sanguillen Teammate of the Year in 2021. Aaron’s greatest passion is the Gospel of Jesus Christ, which has the power to save for all those who believe (Romans 1:16) ! His desire is to use his experience in baseball to help players achieve excellence in their craft, and to point them to find their joy and fulfillment in the God who created them. Aaron loves his wife Brooke, and his daughters Millie and Bliss.
